Jotape is a Brazilian-born artist, active between Miami and Sao Paulo. The artist’s works, created through color and resin, could be defined as abstract paintings with pop effects. Easy to place and extremely lovable, Jotape’s pieces can be inserted both in modern and classic environments.
Some of his more passionate collectors are Brazilian politicians and several private collectors in Miami such as: Joao Doria, Mayor of São Paulo, Pedro Andrade (anchorman), Andressa Salamone (fashion designer), Emerson Fittipaldi (F1 world champion), Instituto Ayrton Senna, Fernando Henrique Cardoso (former President of Brazil), Malinka Max (fashionista), Luiz Rodriguez (owner of Cruz Azul soccer team, Mexico) or David Lipnik (film industry).
Jotape has exhibited at several editions of the Art Basel Miami, as well as in galleries such as the Nan Miller Gallery, Aspen Grove Fine Arts, the Hazelton Fine Arts galleries and in various spaces in Brazil.
