HEDWIGE LAROUX
PERCORSO ARTISTICO

Hedwige Leroux (born in 1961, Belgium) is a Belgian sculptor based in Brussels. Her work explores the contemporary feminine figure — free, graceful, and connected — through the timeless medium of bronze.
Leroux begins each piece by modelling delicate forms in clay, paying close attention to gesture, texture, and balance before casting them in bronze. Her sculptures are characterized by a harmony between fragility and strength, embodying movement and presence with quiet elegance.
Blending sensuality and restraint, her figures evoke a contemplative energy that reflects both the inner and outer worlds of women today. Leroux’s work has been exhibited widely across Europe and is held in private and institutional collections, including the Saito Museum in Japan.
