BIOGRAPHY

She began her career as an apprentice under internationally-recognized painters inspiring Perez to explore her own voice as an artist. Early into her development she quickly became one of the pioneering artists in the rise of Miami’s street art movement. As a self-taught painter Jenny immersed herself in a disciplined studio practice exploring abstract expressionism with notes of pop art, eventually mimicking her paintings onto walls.

She become one of the pioneering artists in the rise of Miami’s Wynwood Art District. She played a key role in the street art movement of the neighbourhood and her projects are still supported by The Goldman Family to this day. Her work has been featured in city-wide campaigns from original art-turned-bus wraps with Miami-Dade Public Transportation, to being the first female artist to ever design the Miami Marathon medal. Her collectors include world renown art collectors behind the de la Cruz Collection, Carlos, Claudia, and Rosa de la Cruz; high-level celebrities, and various influencers in several industries.

Perez has been welcomed to exhibit in iconic Miami establishments such as the Delano Hotel, Intercontinental Hotel, as well as a highly anticipated exhibition at the Sagamore Hotel for Art Basel 2017 titled: “Urban Legends” where her works hung amongst legends such as Basquiat, Keith Haring and Banksy.
